Is The Spin Speed Is 1000 RPM

I wonder if GM purposely put the name 'Imperial' [a competing brand for their Cadillac brand] on a washing machine?!

I had a Speed Queen wringer washer that was mint condition and I paid $5.00 for it at an auction because nobody wanted it. I have kicked myself ever since of letting it go.

PS Fridgeidaire is on my list too.

I like Maytag, but I would prefer the Speed Queen like this as they used to be in the laundromat, boy could they clean! I have a Whirlpool/ Maytag that does ok , but is noisy.

When I was a kid my grandmother had this machine same agitator . I would stand watching till it was over. Fridgedare wish they still built them like this today❤

My grandmother owned this washing machine. I remember admiring the control panel that would light up and have a style that seemed so futuristic. Washing machines were not only for function but also for appearance.
